This notice describes Prayer: App Blocker, provided by Adaptiv Apps Inc., and this support website.
Information in the app
Prayer does not require an account. The app contains no advertising, analytics SDK or developer-operated backend. We do not receive your prayer location, selected apps, prayer preferences, camera images or dhikr counts from the app.
Location and prayer times
If you grant location permission, coordinates are used on your iPhone to calculate prayer times. You may enter coordinates manually instead. Saved coordinates and calculation preferences remain in the app’s local storage. Prayer does not send them to a prayer-time service.
Screen Time
With your permission, Apple’s Screen Time frameworks let you select apps and categories. Selection tokens and protection state are stored locally in an App Group shared by Prayer and its Screen Time extensions. They are not transmitted to us.
Camera and notifications
Prayer captures camera images in memory and checks prayer-mat photos using an image-classification model bundled with the app. Classification runs on your iPhone. Prayer-space photos are user-confirmed. Images are not uploaded or saved to your photo library by Prayer. Notification permission is optional. The app’s reminder system uses local notifications; optional reminders follow prayer confirmation. Current completion state, dhikr session progress and your chosen phrase remain on your device.
Storage and deletion
Preferences and dhikr counts are stored on your device. You can change permissions in iOS Settings and remove local app data by deleting the app. Your device and backup settings may determine whether app data is included in an Apple backup; those services are governed by Apple’s policies.
TestFlight and support
Apple may provide crash reports, diagnostics and feedback through TestFlight or App Store Connect according to your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that correspondence to respond and resolve your request. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any necessary legal retention.
This website
This static website has no contact form, advertising or analytics script. Its hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and secure the site. Email links open your email application.
